It's Education Week. I hope you are able to attend some of the activities this week.

Open House
7:45 - 8:45 am
Coffee and breakfast snacks will be available in the gym. You can also come to our classroom to see what we have been learning.

Tuesday
Young Authors Celebration

Only a few students were selected to be recognized for their writing accomplishments.

Wednesday
Education Week Mass

Curriculum Notes

In literacy, our word wall words for this week are:

We will begin to look at the skill of inferring as we read.

In math, we will begin to work with 3D shapes this week.

In science, we are beginning our new unit called "Energy in our Lives." We begin by learning about our most important source of energy - the Sun.

In music, we will begin to look at written music. We will learn about quarter notes, eighth notes and quarter rests.
